  INPUT DEVICE 

An input device is a hardware device used to enter data and instructions into a computer.

Examples:

            OUTPUT DEVICE 

An output device is a hardware device that displays or produces the result of the computer's processing.

Examples:

  • Monitor
  • Printer
  • Speaker
  • Projector
  • Plotter

Difference Between Input and Output Devices

Input Device

Sends data to the computer.

Used to enter data and instructions.

Examples: Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner

Output Device

Receives data from the computer.

Used to display or produce results.

What is CPU

CPU stands for Central Processing Unit.

The CPU is called the brain of the computer because it processes data, performs calculations, and controls all the operations of the computer.
